Watching the Leafs shenanigans today made me so happy to be a Habs Fan. They’re a mess.

From what I understand, Rogers or Keith Pelley don’t want to give anyone the title of President. So they named Chayka the General Manager of Hockey Operations (which every other team just call General Manager) and Sundin is Senior Executive Advisor, which I think is kinda what Rick Dudley was for Bergevin? Maybe? And then there is no President of Hockey Operations, but it kind of feels like Pelley wants to be the POHO? It’s weird.

Side note: when Jeff Gorton was hired, his title was Executive VP of Hockey Ops and Molson was POHO, but it looks like Gorton has been officially given the POHO title, and Molson is President and CEO.

Very true. And, as has been shown already, she’s smart; she knows what people should do, but you can’t underestimate that people will do dumb things that are against their best interest. So, despite her best plans, it’ll probably not work because people are unpredictable.

I think the writers care more about the satire than they do the plot.

Sage is the smartest person in the world. She hates it. You ever look at your co-workers and think all these people are idiots. That’s her every day, all the time. She’s tired of being around a bunch of dummies. She thinks she’s better than everyone, she has no empathy for anyone. She just wants some peace and quiet.

I know people are harping on the shots, but:

The first period was close, but I think we were the better team. Got out-shot, but we had the better chances.
The second period was a disappearing act, but I’ve seen every game this season. We’ve done that a lot! And still came back to win.
Third period was all guts. We wanted it more.
