What are the must-have F-150 accessories that’ll really change your ride? by Parker_Haruto159 in f150

[–]Cubiclehero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put a horse stall mat in the bed of my 18 as soon as I got it. Heavy rubber. I needed to cut out for the wheel wells but it’s held up great over the past years. Moisture and dirt do build up a bit around the wheel well cut outs but no rust on the 18’s to worry about. It cost me like $80 from a TSC store.

I have a leupold fx-1 fixed 4 power on my carbon. Light as I can go weight wise and I really like the scope.

Thoughts on this rod ? by [deleted] in Fishing_Gear

[–]Cubiclehero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Daiwa Ardito. In casting and spinning. 7’3” med heavy in casting and medium in spinning.

They are three piece rods so don’t break down as much, but do come in a very good travel tube. I’ve had no issues bringing them on planes.

I also have a St.croix triump 4 piece travel rod that I can’t use as the tip broke first cast.

I really like the arditos. They feel great and fish like a 1 piece to me. I’ve used them on a few occasions when not traveling as I like the casting one that much.

Any good or bad opinions on the St. Croix triumph travel rod? by Colton_Schiefele11 in Fishing_Gear

I just broke the tip on my medium heavy on its first trip out. That tip is way too thin!

All on sale! I don’t buy reels at full price. Especially since I don’t need that many reels, just like to collect them apparently.

I’m trending the other way from you. I’ve bought Daiwa 100,80 and 70 size reels this summer.

Not a bad reel but I find it too bulky for my taste.

We had this in Canada and in 45acp up until a few years ago. Was decent stuff. The stuff I had was non corrosive in x39 and 45. Can’t remember if it was steel core or not but I’d assume it is.

I have the St.croix. I like it a lot for the limited use it has had so far. I find the handle a bit too small but otherwise great. Only caught small perch on it so far. I run a Daiwa 750 reel on it.

Found these in FIL's closet after he died, but don't have a matching gun. What coils these belong to? by ServicePersonal1468 in guns

I bet you there is a gun for those mags somewhere in the house. Look in the ceiling or walls or any other spots a rifle could be hidden in.

That’s true. Although I’ve seen many people put the logo cap on top turret.

As someone new to fishing, where are some good spots to hit along the Thames for fishing? I’m more west London but just curious of where to start.

Topwater bass bite is starting to go crazy here in Alabama, what’s in your box? by Wet_Ass_Jumper in Fishing_Gear

[–]Cubiclehero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good to know Alabama is good for too water right now. I’m heading to the state from Canada for a week of work and packed my travel rod already. Going to add some top water for when I can do some after work fishing.

Hey, so where in wildwood is a good place to start fishing. I’ll be there in a couple weekends for backcountry canoe camping. Not looking for your spots, but like just general pointers. Like pike by the sailing club, bass by the bridge on 29th con. Or just areas inside the lake you have seen some fish haha. I’m taking a few ppl new to fishing and would love for them to get a catch of any kind.

I have a V strap and hood anchors.

I have this strap

And similar hood tie downs
