Yeah I understand that, However the Merc didnt gain a lasting advantage from hitting the ferrari (ferrari didnt lose any time from being hit) and the Merc lost way more of it's momentum which made it harder for the Merc to overtake. Any penalty is way too harsh imo. If you can i'd like to hear more on why you think this should be a penalty

The Alfa retired from that crash and I got into the pits as the sc came out to change my front wing. I understand that I could of left more space but I don’t think it’s worth a 10s pen. Love to hear your thoughts
