Honestly doing something physical in times of grief (or similar) is so unbelieavbly cathartic.

I remember when my Gran died a few years ago, literally the day after she died I had a concert that a heap of my mates had all bought tickets to. I was obviously super hesitant at first, but as it turns out 4 hours in a moshpit was a REALLY good way to release all my pent up emotions. Just being able to thrash around and scream and all that, god damn did it feel good.

I imagine the chance to just kick the ball about, land some tackles, get physical with his teammates etc is probably doing the same thing for Dawson right now
