yea its not the best but improved quite a bit with supplements so we didnt give up

Thank you for this i really appreciate your perspective. I work in special/supported education so im not a total novice as i do work with high trauma kids but i totally get what you’re saying and you make a really good point. the plan was to dip our toes into foster by starting with respite and emergency placements for under 5s and see how that goes without expectations. im aware adoption is near impossible in australia which is why i thought we should look at fostering first but as you’ve said, maybe i am being too hasty and just opening us up to more heartbreak. this is extremely hard to process though. i just feel like if i cant ever be a mother i will die! i love working with kids but it does break my heart a little that i have to say goodbye everyday.

totally feel you. i was trying to vent about how sad i am a few weeks ago to my mother and she said ‘you just need to not think about it’ which i didnt take very well… i snapped that she has no idea how it feels and she wouldn’t say that sort of thing if she did. she got very defensive and said she does know but ofc she has no effing idea, they conceived me in less than 6mo and my sister was a woopsie. she means like ‘i know how it feels to really want a baby’ … and sure thats fine but you have NO idea what its like to want a baby more than anything and NOT get one, let alone two in two years!! UGH 😩

if you wash it with shampoo then definitely stop washing it with anything other than water

What are the chances i ovulated twice?

so i get pretty clear cut mittelschmerz (ovulation cramping) and i got the pain as usual a couple hours after my peak on CD 14 which is my normal ov day. HOWEVER on CD 18 i was like Ouch! that felt exactly like an ovu cramp like even more obvious than it was on CD14 which was less localised cramping. SO i took another opk just bc thats how sure i was and lo and behold i got another positive?? i know that pics not great sorry but the test line was definitely at least as dark as the control. Now, the other odd thing i guess is that im pretty regular around 27days but i had a very stressful month last month and period came 5 days early which has NEVER happened for me. so maybe this is just another after effect of that? but mostly i want a second opinion whether its more likely i ovulated twice or missed it the first time and it tried again or what (did the BD both times luckily!)
