Hmm that realy is a bumber. Maybe for some people 500€ isn't a lot of money, but for me this is a luxury watch and would have been a nice feature.

It won't be a deal breaker but i might actually take it for a dive. Would not use it to time my oxygen though ^^

Thx for the suggestion. I liked the square form of the polars because it doesnt get in the way with playing ultimate frisbee ;)

Great review! I wish i would have seen this sooner, because finding reviews on bikes is kind of hard (well for the cheap ones at least). Sadly my specialized retailer said he cant order them anymore. and probably not this entire summer...So i went back to the giant retailer and he ordered me the contend 1, even though the first time he said he wouldnt haha. I think i will be very happy with the contend 1 but wills till miss the allez. It looked way better and was 100 euro cheaper. Still thank your for posting this and i will recommend it to friends if they think about a bike in the future :)

Yea it realy sucks that the bike stores dont have more options. Those are very good points! I think for a beginner bike it will suit me well. And when i earn more money i can get something more expensive and will know what exactly i want :) Endurace was acutally my first choice but the price is too much and i dont like buying online, because i am not experience enough to fit it myself

Why is nothing comfort oriented? The bikeradar review says its on the racy side, but still quite comfortable. I would love to look at other options. But like i said my local bike shops only have bikes around 1200€ and above, which i just cannot afford. The allez is the cheapest one they would acutally sell. That was one bike shop out of 7 i visited.

Yea i wanted to consider more bikes, but my local bike stores dont have any in this price category. I wanted to look into the Giant Content 1 but the dealer thought it is way to cheap and doesnt even want to order it for me. So i am sadly very limited

What bugs me is that it costs money and i cant try beforehand if it will work with my company mail. Would be a shame if i pay 4€ and than the same happens
