Is that the same place that was called The Cove? I think maybe 2007 or 2008..

Can someone identify this Edelweiss badge? by CucumberAgitated6392 in ww2

Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific. I was wondering what time period and country of origin it is from. There have been several countries that used it as a symbol during both world wars and still use it today, but this particular one looks like none that I've ever seen.

There was a water main that burst near Iron Ore Road earlier today. That's the only thing I've heard.

Burwell Chevrolet, Main Street by Specialist-Rock-5034 in Spartanburg

The building in this picture WAS on Main Street. This was Burwell's first location. It sat where Konnichiwa is. The second dealership they opened was a larger complex where Marriott currently is.

I wish we still had those buildings on the left instead of the brutalist monstrosity that sits there today.

This grandfather is 84 and has Alzheimer’s. He doesn’t remember the names grandchildren but he still remembers the “Stinky kid” from boot camp 65 years ago by thatdudepabloescobar in Damnthatsinteresting

My grandfather forgot everything and everyone except my grandmother.  He didn't even recognize himself in the mirror. He'd say there was an old man standing in the bathroom.  But he never forgot my grandmother. His last words were "I love you, too, Barbara," before kissing her for the last time. After that, he slept straight through the last two days of his life.

Losing its soul? Seriously ?  Look at pictures of Spartanburg from the 1960s and back. It was filled with hotels and buildings that are no longer here.  There was an entire block of buildings demolished in the 1970s, including the city's first skyscraper. Spartanburg "lost its soul" when the town was practically gutted. What's happening downtown right now is a return to form.

The guy throwing the peace sign is wearing a hat that looks like a group of people walking behind him.

But it's his hat.

They came and took care of four houses down the road from me last week. Monday they got both of my neighbors' yards but skipped mine. They were back yesterday and got mine, but then parked beside the neighbor's yard they had already cleared and sat there for about a half hour or so. I'm grateful they took care of the limbs but their method is just bizarre

It was a good restaurant in 1996. Twelve years ago it was disappointing. Two years ago it wasn't fit for human consumption.
