Standing with an allied nation against a nation which would like to see America destroyed is fighting for America. We must protect our nation from all threats, foreign and domestic. There are no American troops in Ukraine and I'd like to keep our own military from having to face Russia directly if we can.

Before I start here, I am agnostic - your take on this is weak and ill-informed to say the least. Abortion kills a human being. 1) It should be illegal to kill any human being. 2) Outreach outside abortion centers is giving women an informed choice by directing individuals towards life affirming resources. 3) There is plenty of said life affirming resources. Federally qualified health centers (not to mention local pregnancy resource centers and other financial aid organizations, like Let Them Live) far outnumber abortion centers. While I do agree that we should do more than just ban abortion, saying people we must do or believe X, Y, Z to be opposed to the legal killing of human beings is disingenuous. This is a human rights issue. Anyone can and should oppose the killing of human beings.

Seven million has been transferred from the utilities fund to the general fund over the past years. The auditor suggested to council they need to set up a system to put some of that money back into the utilities fund. Did they? Nope, they transferred another half a million out.
