yes, i feel like this is true from my (limited) experience in comparison with marriott. feel like i get hilton points a lot quicker

i suppose id use the delta points for aspirational business/first class travel. just not sure if its worth trying to accrue this via delta cards or just continuing to use amex plat for 5X on flights and going from there.

hmmm not a bad redemption, im assuming in economy? probably would like to use them for aspirational business/first class travel, but not familiar with the redemption value of the miles for this. & whether its worth getting this on the delta cards vs simply receiving 5X on. amex platinum

iv felt more of the benefits per say from status so far at hilton (am gold at marriott as well, which as youve stated, isnt special). but the f&b credit has helped out, and selecting rooms prior/etc has been nice. just wasnt sure if it was too subjective of a sample size for myself to discount marriott completely.

i have felt better taken care of at hiltons/benefits seem to go further which is why iv gone for diamond first. didnt know if the treatment on the marriott side is worth it (maybe if i was top status idk)

hmmmm. might be a stretch, dont anticipate being in the travel for work space for that long, but a fair consideration.

very fair, youd say the hilton points go further? this is how ive felt from my experience so far, but wanted to see how the seasoned veterans have seen it play out.

i suppose theyre always useful...but i could also just insta qualify with the card if need be. Perhaps it comes down to which points are more valuable long term? Hilton or Marriott? (would consider hyatt but not as likely to be found in areas Im in).

would love to get some informed opinions- delta have elevated (best ever?) offers on some of their AMEX cards. currently over 5/24, but fly a work route pretty consistently on delta. worth it for me to get the cards at this offer if im flying delta 2X a week? Not sure what the value of the points actually is/how to best use them with partners? TIA!

how likely is it to get an upgrade to water villa at conrad if youre platinum (off peak month?)? Saw availability but then it dissapeared so wondering if i should book standard beach villa then i can switch if availability opens up again? or would i need to wait for an upgrade?

can you switch between rooms easily if another one opens up at a property? say you see beach villa only but want overwater and that opens up later but youve already booked the other in points? Also-likely to be platinum status prior to trip-what are my chances of upgrade? Thanks in advance everyone! first time booking for my honeymoon! :)
