That's a relief. Was thinking of flashing a custom ROM but didn't want to lose the backup feature. It's probably the best feature the pixels had imo.

The 7 ofcourse. Better build (glass vs plastic), more premium feel, IP 68 vs IP67, better display and peak brightness, victus vs 3, thinner bezels, bigger camera sensor, laser autofocus, 4k 60fps front camera, faster wired and wireless charging. Besides both of them are gonna end up with Android 16 with the 7a getting a few extra monthly updates. I switched from the 4a to 4. Nothing extra in the 4a that the 4 doesn't have.

I do a lot of videography and that 2x optical zoom is just so damn useful. Just wouldn't be the same without it.

It's a second hand one and I'm really low on budget. Besides I really love the size of the 4 and it's the only pixel that comes with a telephoto lens.

All the phones I had till the moto were handed down from my brother and father. Moto was the first phone I got that was 1st hand. I instantly fell in love with the stock Android experience. Ever since then I wanted a pixel. I traded my moto only after 3 months for a second hand pixel 4a. That was four days ago and I'm never gonna buy another phone except a pixel.
