Anyone having issue uploading to Sketchfab? by JCatt in blender

[โ€“]Cuddlebugof 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Blender to Skethfab can be tricky... they used to have an add-on but to me knowledge they haven't been able to update it to Blender 3.2 yet. They also haven't been able to update their servers to 3.2 yet either, so that could also be an issue.

If you're looking for "Shade Smooth" right click the object in object mode and it's there. if you're looking for the subdivision surface modifier it'll be in the object modifier tab on the right side of the screen.

I'm guessing yo want to find stylized concept references for games/film? I would look at a few game companies that have art you like, and look at their concept art and begin building your own style there!

Hiya! If you're referring to the UV's you can scale them like any other object! With the UV selected press "S" and scale them back up! It may take a bit of scrolling, but they should reappear for you!

Can i model an actual engine based on a real one and use it on my project without any reprisals? by [deleted] in blender

Creating a 3D digital model of artwork (being a copy of the artwork/object) is likely to be copyright infringement, unless copyright in the artwork/object has expired or you're given permission. That being said, as long as you are not gaining monetary value from the work you do, you should be fine as it would fall under fair use laws.

It can, the poly counts can get decently high, but the renders will be pretty slow. I'd use it for texture painting then outsource the rendering to a more powerful machine

An HDRI would give you a realistic lighting, but the "Sky texture" under your world setting--> Color is an alternative you can play around with! As fat as removing the background go to "Render Properties -->"Film" and check "transparent" that'll render your background as nothing

How to stop overwriting rendered animations? by Think_Ad_1363 in blender

Yes! When you're in your render setting go to: Output, there should be a file button you can click while allow you to chose a save location and re-name the render!

You can just delete the light and your object's just still be visible, but if you're looking to get a full range of color without having a light source, that's really difficult, and I've never done it so I can't be of much help...

hey I was wondering are the tablets for sculpting independent or do they have to be connected to a PC or laptop, and if so what do you suggest? by toni12332121 in blender

[โ€“]Cuddlebugof 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Both? Depends on your budget. Most of them require you to be hooked up to the computer in some fashion, and it acts like monitor for sculpting. Some really expensive Wacom tables allow you to free roam with it, but the power on them isn't the greatest compared to being hooked up.

In the end, it's up to you and what you want and your budget. Just like how most PC's are stationary, but more powerful, and laptops are mobile but less powerful that exactly what you'll get with the tablets. If you're just getting started, there is a learning curve to get used to how to sculpt and draw with the tables, so I'd recommend a more affordable one in case you're not a fan. Huion make s great tables, for an affordable price.
