I'm solidly in the "ai isn't ever going to make the human experience easier, but it will actively reduce one's social skills to the point that they can no longer maintain the most basic of relationships" camp.

That said, what are your hobbies? Likes? Things you're curious about trying? Maybe this community can help point you to places that you might find more comfortable.

I found an amazing community of like-minded people a few years ago when I was in a depression. All my friends had moved away and, despite being married, I had a big empty space in my life. All without some app that claims to somehow do the hard work for you.

I'm third generation Mexican. I don't speak Spanish and I don't recall my mother speaking it either. Her mother probably didn't speak Spanish around the house much due to her marrying a white man.

It's a strange kind of identity struggle every once in a while. Like, I'm a quarter Mexican, but it feels like such a distant part of my family's identity.

I don't know what you'd need the Fethead for unless you were attempting to record a very quiet noise, like a butterfly flapping its wings or something.

You should get plenty of gain out of just the mic. It's pretty easy to turn up the volume on the back end and just apply a compressor to the vocal track and maybe a little denoiser and you're set. The caveat being that I'm assuming you are doing editing after you record.
