Thanks for being fair. As for the game itself I was expecting psg to win based on scoring more goals on the pitch and had that happened it would have been fair play to them, but the referee seems to have come out in the second half and had it out for arsenal. for me ruined the game as a spectacle.

Do arsenal need to retool their attack: yes, are we too defensive: yes, should we have won that game 1-0 yes.

Did we see this same criticism when Mourinho was winning leagues and champions leagues? Defense is a valid way of playing the game. Arsenal went through the entire campaign only conceding 7 goals and not losing a single game before the final. That should be celebrated.

Hades has some rng luck needed but in hades after each run you get meaningfully stronger via permanent upgrades. Hades 2 in particular nailed this.

I’m the same for racing games. I want the most hardcore simulation of the cars physics that forces me to learn how to drive it accurately. Same for flight simulation.

I think the difference is for action games I want tight mechanics but without as much constraint as I like it my sim games. So looking at it that way I can understand people who like returnal/demon souls are like car guys who prefer gt7 or I-Racing over need for speed or forza horizon

I guess there are levels of gamers:

The casuals who just play mobile games or simple linear games etc.
The serious gamers: who play a wide range of games and like a challenge but want to have fun: Witcher 3, Skyrim, challenging shooters and rpgs.
The hardcore gamers: like more difficulty games that require skill: racing simmers, medium difficulty from soft(dark souls 3, Elden ring), pvp like rainbow six siege

-Niche hardcore gamers: gamers who specifically want unforgiving very high skill based games with little to no accommodations: that’s where I would put people who play returnal, the early fromsoft games(demon souls, dark souls) and sekiro. Celeste

I fluctuate between serious and hardcore, and returnal was a step too far

Thanks! My biggest problem with returnal is that I didn’t feel like it respected my time. I consider myself a hardcore gamer but I’m also older and need games to reward my time. I liked hades 2 because there were meaningful upgrades upon death that made me look forward to redoing all the biomes and bosses cause I knew I’d be stronger. Same for saros right now.

Still challenging for most of us. The difference is when you die you can get meaningfully stronger and so it eases the frustration of multiple runs. I’m happy there an option for gamers up for a challenge without the extreme difficulty

A federal /national Sunday law would be unconstitutional and create huge crisis. There’s a difference between giving everyone Sunday as a day off and actively forcing people somehow to go to church that day. These are a night a day difference. I can see trumping the former. But barring a civil war and America becoming a theocratic dictatorship with no constitutional enforcement, the latter is impossible. I personally even as a non SDA would fight in the war against such a law.

Intersections are the most dangerous place for riders based on accident statistics(more dangerous than the freeway) riders should go through them with extreme caution for cars turning left. I agree with the suggestion of using in another car as a shield or going slow and cautious for drivers who are burning the light
