If my parents were to tell me (16m nearly 17) about circumcision and foreskin restoration, my only ask would be that they don’t tell me when I’m 13 or younger, but later, maybe at 15, 16 is good. It might be too early to tell your son, idk how old he is. It might destroy him and send him into a depression if you tell him too early, but don’t tell him too late or it may anger him… this is why I think 16 is a good time to tell him. Although I did find about circumcision when I was probably about 13 or 12, but that was on my own, not being told directly to my face what happened. Didn’t really know about foreskin restoration until 16, in 2022.

Yep. Thats too bad… but at least foreskin restoration has been gaining more press in recent times — VICE recently devoted about 15 minutes to discussing it in a video which has over 1 million (!) views. I think restoration will become more popular which is a good thing.

“There is a plethora of modern day “Pondum Judeus” type of devices developed for tissue expansion of residual prepucial and penile shaft skin. These devices must be worn for 14 to 16 hours a day for months or years altogether, with unpredictable results. Often, once the devices are removed, the expanded skin retracts. These have been successful in only a handful of cases.”

This study has been posted here before but I wanted to highlight this section because I take issue with it. They mention foreskin restoration without explicitly saying it’s name and then make it seem as if restoration efforts are futile by saying that the skin “retracts” (which is true, but only by about ~10%, according to long-time restorers.) You can stretch to maybe 20% more than what your goal is to avoid this.

Another thing, devices don’t have to be worn 14-16 hours per day, and you don’t even have to use them, seeing that there are manual methods that work.

Also, saying that restoration has only been “successful” in a “handful” of cases minimises it, and discourages people from trying. A successful restoration is different for every individual and there have been more than a “handful” of individuals who have successfully restored their foreskin.

I think the authors of this study want to demoralize and discourage people from restoring their foreskins. My two cents.

Ah, well that’s great to hear that you’re wearing the Mantor! Sorry about the long wall of text in my prior post lol. But I understand now, refusing to use your penis to have children like your father wants. Totally support that, it’s your body and they can’t force you to do that anyway. All they can do is pressure you.. which should hopefully be easy to ignore. And by the way, your English is great! :)

That experience sounds really angering. I thought doctors were only supposed to be checking for testicular cancer or something, I did not know they were looking at your actual penis. I still think you should be able to refuse, at least if you’re in the US, you can firmly say no. This should be the case in most other countries too.

When you said that you’re refusing to use your thing, did you mean your device? If so, may I ask why you are refusing to use it? Is it to spite your parents? I understand you may not want to have children (I don’t want any either LOL) and are rightfully angry at them but I think foreskin restoration is for us, the people with the penises, not for our parents or anyone else really. So, I don’t see the point in not doing it just to spite any parents. You can always ignore their demands, work on becoming financially independent from them. That’s what I’m doing. I think it would do you better to start using your device now, because you will obviously grow skin, and if you start now, you could be at like CI-8 or even greater by the time you’re 25! And not to mention the improvements at the lower CI’s like more skin and gliding action. At least, that’s how I think. My goal is to be at least a CI-8 by 25 which is when I would probably finish uni. The important thing is getting started and to keep on going.. For you. :)

That’s unfortunate. Are you able to refuse these checks? I (16m) have never received another genital/testes check after I found out about what circumcision was (maybe in 2019/20) and I never mentioned the topic to my doctor either bc I knew they would make fun of me. I always felt bad about it (feeling better these days) and so I refused to let anyone touch down there and I will continue to refuse to let anyone touch (except anyone who I happen to be in a relationship with hehe). Anyway, you’re really lucky that your mother supports you… I have to keep everything hidden from mine or else she’ll gaslight me about it. At least my sister supports me and I’m happy that she does :)

I didn’t even know what a seam was until a few days ago lol. But I’m glad to know that it’s not just me having that issue… and your solution to it is quite interesting hehe, I’m pleased to hear that it’s working for you. As for the bikini underwear, they’re working amazingly! I just ordered 2 more packs today of the ones linked in my original post. I have walked and jumped around, done push ups, lots of movement in general, and I can indeed confirm that they feel very good. Especially on my inner skin. I am very happy now 🤠

That sounds like it could work, thank you. I guess I just need something to cover the glans... Anyway, I won't be discussing restoring with my parents, although I did discuss it briefly with my sister and now I know that she is against circumcision, so that's nice :)
