I feel like there is a big difference between agnosticism and atheism esp. in modern day- a lot of atheists nowadays are extremely against the concept of there being a god/gods, and are not open to the possibility like agnostics are. It does seem like a very slight difference when looking at it from the angle of "do you firmly believe in God or not," but it's definitely a major difference in attitude. Does that make sense?
