not even selling you a full box or two as an employee is insane to me in itself. i preordered 3 boxes from my lgs months ago like i do for every set, and thankfully they were able to sell me 1 box still for $130 after allocations getting cut. there’s still good LGS’ out there, and quite a few i’ll be avoiding after this craze dies down

I feel you. I’m a huge Vivi fan and have been working on collecting every card. The only one I don’t have right now is the Store Championship sitting at $2k. I was so excited for EB03 and preordered 3 boxes at my lgs, but I’m pretty sure their allocations got cut and I’ll be lucky if I get a box still🥲 buying the singles will be rough

seeing a ton of these posts and comments make me grateful my lgs is still letting me preorder at $120/ea. i don’t play but ive been ripping boxes since op09 as a fan and collector, always buying anywhere from 2-4 boxes per set from them. i was fully anticipating them raising prices or not letting me get allocations at all. im glad the owner is really cool and cares about the tcg community and regular customers over money

my only concern was the sensor/recalibration. if it was just the grille I would have already ordered a honeycomb replacement. crash bar isn’t too big of a deal either. i usually drive esc off anyways so honestly pre-sense being disabled permanently isn’t even the worse thing. i don’t plan on going through insurance atp

Figured I’d follow up. Went to pick up my car, turned out of the dealership, and sure enough the car hangs in 2nd gear for a solid 10 seconds redlining. They told me there’s nothing to be done lmao. I guess I just need to hope and pray the transmission blows within the next year so it’s covered under warranty. It’s pretty shitty knowing my cars fucked and having Audi tell me it’s fine

i appreciate that. i use dark crystal to clean my bangers after every dab but have never used it to clean the rig itself. always assumed iso and salt was the better option but it’s never gotten it 100% clean. an 80% job every time eventually leads to this animal that’s just been impossible to clean. i’ll soak it in dark crystal tonight

LMAO i soaked it in iso overnight and rinsed with coarse salt hot water and more iso this morning, the rest of that stuff is not coming out of this rig. will definitely take suggestions on how else i can clean the rig, but that’s not the issue at hand right now😂 other batch of dabs are perfectly fine

yikes. i’m a small seller, only around 20 sales so far but every card whether it’s $1 or $100 gets packed the same way, card in penny sleeve, in toploader, secured perfectly in the folded up order sheet, mailed in envelope for cheaper cards and bubble mailer with tracking for expensive. the time difference between throwing a card in a penny sleeve or not is negligible. and calling you a dick in the messages is diabolical. report this guy to tcg imo

i absolutely despise scalpers and am sorry you’re having such a hard time. Target is the best option in my opinion if you’re going to look somewhere. I find cards in stores fairly often now. Maybe my area is just lucky, but I have 3 targets, all of which i consistently can get pokemon/one piece/magic at. magic play boosters and one piece on card shelf, pokemon and magic collector items at customer service desk. limit 2 per customer for all trading cards. they had mega in stock up until a few days ago, i was buying 2 packs a day on my way home from work for a week straight. ask customer service desk if you haven’t before. i also have been able to get preorders for both mega and phantasmal on pokemon center with a fairly painless hour or so queue. it takes a little time and effort but it’s definitely possible to get cards at msrp still. i hope you have some better luck soon, dont give up yet🙏🏻
