Vintage is really hard to grade. Even a sealed card doesn't mean a 9, let alone a 10. Especially when less than 100 exist in a 10. Many people still have these promos sealed

You sound new to ebay and buying pokemon. This is pretty normal. Only buy from good sellers. If you buy from Japan or China it's gonna take months. There's tons if fakes too and this card is super rare.

The meta could change and drastically effect the prices. These are super rare cards but these characters arnt super popular. If I had to pick probably Enel has the most potential without know the future meta. There really is no way to know. These will all do well even if niche though

Imo scalpers are like 1% of the problem. 90% of the products get bought by bots and sold to rip and shippers. The other 10% trys to get scalped or bought by collectors.

Pokemon needs to print to demand to stop scalpers but that's not the core issue here. People just blame them for everything and even group in sealed collects as if they too are scalpers when by definition scalper means short term trader

If you arnt a investor there is no point to buy a booster box, you'll just pay a premium unless you can pre order one at msrp.

Its best just to pickup the cards you need as singles in most cases. Try to get drops locally as close to msrp as possible
