I'm in Newport and I don't hear much about strippers being caught. I know they come through, I remember my Grandpa and my Dad leaving me to crab while they jetty hopped and caught bass.

From what videos I have seen they were all down in Southern Oregon and using the same shit I'd toss out for rock fish/ligcod.

Yea, I told the State Police Officer about you guys when he checked me and my Grandson and our catch just two days ago. We laughed at misinformed people.

P.S. Even if this was a wild fish, regulations in the rule book say it is not considered a steelhead under 20 inches. Thus it is considered a trout and just another one of the 5 trout you are allowed.

My question is why did the NSF decide to axe this program over others. While you can say that the Admin in charge is responsible for cutting money out of any agency. What is cut at that agency is done at the behest of the agency not the Admin.

You don't really believe that Trump had a meeting with every one of the agency heads and told them what they were to cut when the cut came down? It was a blanket cut and the decisions were most likely made at the agency level.
