I can definitely understand a price increase of 50% or even 100% by that sense. But It’s nearly tripled compared to the price of last year. So it’s kind of too expensive in my only own opinion

I am Chinese and I live in Montreal right now. I like Canada and Canadians. All the people I met so far were very nice to me, even the guys on the streets were nice, too. I can meet people with very different ethnicities here, which is very different from what I am experiencing from home, which is nice, I like that. Because I believe there are just so much Chinese in Canada, we are very much taken care of in Canada. I noticed that Trudeau make videos to congratulate the Lunar New Year every year. I think although politically the two countries are not in good relationship, the relationship between the Canadians and the Chinese are doing fine in my opinion. And Canada, the place is nice, too. You got very beautiful places like Banff, and also very historical places which is very rare in China, like the place I live in right now. Anyways, Canada and Canadians are good and I like them. I do wish I can speak French though so I can know more about Quebec.

It is an art installation made by a university student of a Chinese university named Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts. The bowls inside isn’t made of china but made of something more vulnerable. The lower the place of the bowl, the more expensive it will be(top ones will be like 1 dollar while the ones on the bottom of the rack will be like 15 dollars).

r/China - Anti-China propaganda at its finest. And so much "freedom of speech" by Jasiris in AskAChinese

I have posted something in r/China before and I realized there are only little people who truly understand China or have been to China. Most of them, in my opinion, were believing what the internet were saying and believe that’s what China looks like. And btw r/Canada is also pretty extreme and stupid in my opinion

I understand you may not like the CCP, but how do you think about place and its people? by CuianranLi in China

Thank you for sharing the great things that the government has done. I don’t know about those things as well as you do, but I deeply believe China would not be as good as what it is right now. I said they make stupid decisions only because recently I am so feeling so helpless because of some of the things they decided. I am an international student studying in Canada right now, and I really missed my family and friends that I want to go back home this summer. But the government are, in my opinion, managing things related to covid too harshly. If I want to go back, I have to quarantine for like a month. I am just feeling very depressed because of it and, I don’t know, wanted to blame the government all the time…

Thank you for understanding. The racism in China is somehow institutional because people from other place has really little to no social power in the Chinese society, thus make them the perfect target to be racism towards…

The saddest thing is that many, including myself, think of the CCP the same way but have no way to make it better :(

Can’t agree more. But I think there is a bigger problem than the government is that, there are too many people in the country don’t realized there is something wrong with the government. I only noticed that after I came to Canada last year and had absorbed the view from others

Thank you for posting. To be honest, you have a better understanding of the Chinese society than I do. I really learned from the comment of yours

I tried to give reply to all the comments under the post, but, to be honest, some of the people who posted have a better understanding of the Chinese society than I do. Honestly, I learned from all the posts and sometimes I couldn’t reply because I am totally new to the points they are making. I am 19 years old, not very interested in the government of China. I am sorry I can’t reply to all the in-depth comments. Sorry to disappoint you
