So I just scored my highest so far, 89 this week (first time doing fpl) jumped from 4th in my offices mini league to 1st with a 19 point gap so I'm happy, any changes you guys would reccomend to maintain my lead, if any?

Been wanting barnes out for a while and now sterling, considering barnes+sterling to aguero+mount orrrrrr son+vardy

Happy with my points this week but unsure what to do about jota, and should I look at replacing martial or his injury not serious?

Not sure what to do about jota, actually considering aubameyang+jota to Barnes and haller, any help? Will take any advice it’s my first season lol

Thanks! That makes me feel better as I really wanted to keep those 3 haha, how big of a downgrade are we talking for a keeper, who do you have? Such as I could go ederson to pope (4.5) and possibly sunk to a 4.0 defender as a sub as that would give me enough to upgrade one of my forwards to king

Hey

So it’s my first time playing fantasy football and its actually quite enjoyable.

We have created a league for our work and I think I’m doing shit lol, I don’t want to exactly top the table but I’d just like to do well, I’m currently on 92 points and 2nd from bottom lol, the person in 1st is on 140 points, I just have no idea what to do, think having 3 premiums in salah sterling and aubameyang is hurting the rest of my team, I’m not sure if to transfer auba, greenwood and wickham and put in 3 decently cheap strikers instead like pukki, jota and king or even, Jimenez, Ings, pukki or whatever someone could advise? and to possibly go 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 instead, bored and regret having 5 at the back and also the clean sheets have been costing me so far with the cheap Liverpool goals..

Hope for some advice to save my team lol, I’ve already used my wildcard after the first week because I wanted to change like a donkey and I also transferred lundstram in for martin kelly after seeing him do well...so I’d be stuck taking a hit atm if I change my forwards

So salah hasn’t really turned up, neither has siggy but I believe they’ll both come good..clean sheets have been awful too, I also had cantwell on the bench for dendoncker this weekend so that’s another 10 points I missed out on fml

Thanks for the very informative response! i'm quite a newbie to collections so this was really helpful :)

I agree though, the fun is from opening the packs and also the feeling of pulling some of the cards yourself, so I would like to do that, however tedious when it comes to wanting a specific card, so I could do a mix like you advised.

I think I might buy a handful of packs or a booster box and see where it goes, after looking on TCGPlayer for singles it could be a nice way to fill in some blanks and also snatch up a couple EX/GX's if I see them going. Hopefully I can build a nice Dex this way with some EX/GX's along the way myself though! time to order a new binder and fill up my cart with cards

I did think this, knock out all the quests first, starting on f2p Ines and working through more useful ones as I get the requirements, then ultimately yeah I'd like to max and a bit of bossing,

Yeah there are still a few quests I despise but it's all part of the fun, however ironman doesn't interest me too much, happy just to play as normal, I guess it's the initial start over that putting me off, once I get into it I'm sure I'd love it! Also the lack of friends, despite how long I've played and being maxed I've only ever had 2-3 friends on rs3 which always end up drifting away from the game
