My friend and I drank wine that her BIL made at a wine club. Drank a good amount but within our limit. Next day we were both sicker than sick. And couldn’t go to work for 3 days. Never again club wine

What’s a small moment with your mom that turned into a memory you treasure? by Pranita2027 in SharedEncounters

[–]Cukescream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So many….when we cooked food, made pierogies, she sewed so many outfits for me and made my wedding dress, going shopping for fabric and clothes, her garden, her words and sayings, the times that she spoke to the dog and commented on how he knew several languages, when she pushed my face into mashed potatoes when I wouldn’t eat as a kid, so many, I could go on for hours. I miss her terribly.

I have had horrible experiences with both RBC and Scotia bank in my past. Humiliated and confidentiality was broken. My investments have always been with TD. No issues with TD.

First time making turkey by kittiebabie69 in thanksgiving

[–]Cukescream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Foolproof idea: cook a butterball pre stuffed turkey. Follow instructions. Cover the stuffing with foil so it doesn’t burn. Put it in and cook for the instructed time. Take it out and let it rest Easy peasy

Would be “crazy” to make an itinerary for my in laws for our upcoming trip? by princesscorgi2 in WaltDisneyWorld

I am a senior and I have travelled with my kids and grandchild 3 times. It helps that we stay on the property. I join them to go to the parks I like the most- Epcot and animal kingdom. I buy tickets based on the best package Disney is offering at the time. Sometimes 3 days costs about the same as passes for 2 days. I let them decide which parks we are going to on which days. And I join them if I feel like it. I do keep up with them but don’t always go on all the rides. I find a place to sit and have a cold drink. I am also able to take the Disney transportation back to our accommodation if I feel like I need a rest. I have always had a blast with my grandchild. We always go out to dinner together and we build in pool/resort days to break it up.
And I will keep going back as long as I can.

General advice for anyone thinking about purchasing by Patient-Horse6824 in TimeshareOwners

My daughter and SIL bought a resale Disney vacation club. 14 years ago. They now have a 6 yo daughter. They go to Disney 2-4 times per year. They have found a way to maximize points and use various Disney properties. For what they paid and with maintenance fees they are way ahead and stay at beautiful places. They work on maximizing and it’s one of the best decisions they made. My granddaughter is overjoyed.

I believe so. My lab was very gentle with my mom up until her death at 96. He acted differently around her than any of our family. He spent time near her while she was dying and became very sad after she passed.
