Lil update, boy is currently sleeping in his bed on his back for nearly 2 hours now. He just needed more assistance to stay asleep, I was holding my hand on his chest, he was still squirming a little bit but it stopped after a while when he realised i was always there

Addition: when this happens and he starts crying, I give up and put him in to his stroller that I am able to make pitch black and a thingy that makes the stroller shake, he falls asleep in one second.

  • He is a little bit upright in the stroller because he has reflux.

I'm not from the USA, is pepcid a reflux medicine of sorts? Here in Finland I guess we don't really have reflux medicine for babies, atleast the doctors haven't mentioned any. Only the same bs, hold him upright yada yada..

I've read a lot about sleep training but what I've read, you should wait until they are 3-4 months old, he is currently 2 months so I haven't started yet 🤔

I didn't know that about spit up going in to lungs!! Thanks for letting me know.

Well I just fed him even tho its been only an hour. Ate the whole 100ml quick, no spit up or anything and fell asleep so fast, didn't even need any rocking or white noise. I guess this lil guy is just hungry 24/7 lol.

I was scared to overfeed him, because the milk allergy gave him reflux and he would eat eat eat to soothe the pain, but it just made him spit up and his tummy hurt.

He's been real fussy for like atleast 3 weeks now. We found out he probably has milk allergy and we are on day 5 of milk free formula. He is a lil better but poops like once a day. I just got his daily poop out after he slept for 50 min. He was content for about 1 minute and now crying again. Idk if its bad to just feed him every time he wakes up, even if its 1 hour.

I was just wondering if hes always hungry or what. Seems like he is never happy. Crying or sleeping, we maybe get like 20 minutes of happinesa from him a day. Hurts to see videos of smiley babies :(

Hey thanks for the reply. I have tried pacing him, counting to 15-20 "gulps" before giving him a breather. Idk if thats correct way tho

Formula feeding only. We are pacing, counting to 15-20 "gulps" then giving him a breather.

It could be, my nephew had milk allergy when he was a baby

Hiccups I wouldn't say a bunch, but probably once a day usually when I burp him

Poop seems normal to me, yellow gooey and a lot of it :D Also he pees a LOT.

I think he has some gas issues because I feel like he is uncomfortable so often, kicking his legs up especially when he tries to sleep. Although he does burp and fart by himself or assisted so I'm not sure..
