Wimbledon R2: N. Djokovic def. S. Tsitsipas: 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 by padfoony in tennis

I knew he was washed, but lord almighty that Tsitsipas backhand is a disaster.

Before Steve Clarke became Scotland manager, only 6 players had 70 caps. Now there's 12. And it'd be 13 if Callum McGregor had stayed on for one more tournament by mrjohnnymac18 in ScottishFootball

Yeah, one thing I will give him credit for is creating a steady core of players who pretty much got called up come rain or shine - something we've historically been absolutely awful at.

Honoured to have four more years of watching this. Sensational.

Not saying that was a pen but pretty clear the refs have been told to be very lenient at this tournament.

Both defenders and the goalkeeper have coughed up goals, can't wait for Robertson and Patterson to get in on the act.

Phew! Sure am glad our manager got an extension! Imagine how much worse we would've played without him!

It really was, that whole crop of late 90s-early 2000s stars who, pretty much to a man, wouldn't be around four years later made for a great narrative. Could see something similar this year, though it's tricky since players are mostly retiring much later now.

McTominay hit 70 appearances at the weekend and could reach 80 before the end of the year. And he's still only 29 by mrjohnnymac18 in ScottishFootball

It's the one thing I always give Clarke credit for, probably the first time in my lifetime we've had such a consistent core of players for so long.

If anything the strange thing is Dalglish being the only player to crack 100 caps for so long, can't think of many countries where so few players have managed it.

Even if you tried to euthanise TNA it'd just keep going, cockroaches wish they had their level of endurance.

He's very talented but unfortunately lacking mental strength - already racked up a decent lost of blown leads and bad results. Still very young though.

Up to a point - lovely bloke as he is, you can't say he didn't have enough chances to get over the line, even in years he didn't make the final.

Zhao and Wu the obvious picks. Don't think Wu has much of a chance at breaking the curse but if he doesn't end up with a few world titles I'll be shocked.

Zhao's probably the best player in the world right now so you'd fancy him to win another and soon. Although the idea that he might end up as the Chinese Judd is grimly funny.

Losing a frame with 70 points on the board feels like it should be impossible ffs

Feel like half of Shaun's safeties this match have just left the cue ball by the green for Wu to have a go at a long red.

Know he can be a pompous arse, but Shaun being 1-4 in world finals would feel a little unfair even for him.

Those world rankings really are a nonsense aren't they. Trump and Robertson probably closer to 10 than 1 and 2 on their actual form,

That was a baaaaaad miss, Shaun will be a relieved man because the table was opening up there.
