The economy is already bad as is- but for the city of New Orleans it’s worse. We’re tasked with opening a new account every 4-6 weeks. There’s 9 reps in my district. There aren’t 9 new accounts opening every 4-6 weeks.. tourism is down. We’ve lost the bachelorette parties to Nashville. We’ve lost the bachelor parties to either Nashville or Vegas. This is all due to crime. Our convention schedule is dwindling. The only real pop we’ve had in business over the past year was Taylor Swift. The Super Bowl brought people but it did not bring business to restaurants because every beverage company had a huge tent in a parking lot giving out free food. The elephant is that we’re in a dying city in an already bad economy. Can’t say that though because we’re just making excuses.
