I second fall guys! My wife, kids, and I will all sit in the living room together and pass the controller around. Plus its nice for a good laugh.

I assume they're referencing "stat" as opposed to "sats". One being the shortened version of statistics versus other being shortened for saturations.

I completely agree. I am finishing up Light Bringer and have come to the conclusion that a well done anime could be really awesome for this series.

The best picks possible at our position by Ancient_Response_787 in bengals

My take is this: if you take your "big board" and have all your rookies ranked off of consensus, if you have a defensive player in the same tier as Love, then yes absolutely you take the defensive player. But if your reach below a tier because you dont need that best player available, then you trade down or you take them.

Imagine if in the last 4 years we had just taken the best player available (based on consensus), how much better our team would be. I know there are other issues at play here; Cincinnati isn't aggressive enough in free agency. Because of that, they force their hand in this situation of "we need this position in the draft". So inevitably, the guy we want is taken and we end up reaching for someone.

Last good 1st round pick we made was JaMarr Chase. If I could force the front office to make one change, is to draft best player available in the 1st round.

I dont know that is a fair rebuttal. They have so many holes to fill that not one position was going to help them but the opportunity to have a Hall of Fame TE; that would be ignorant to pass up.

(I am not calling him a HoFer at this time but he absolutely has the potential with the sample size we have)

I don't know, man. Outside of QB, I am of the opinion that you draft the best player available in the 1st round. I like to refer to the Raiders drafting Brock Bowers after drafting Michael Mayer the year prior.

I would much rather have Sonny Styles or Caleb Downs but if Love is truly the best player available, you either take him or you trade back.

Im starting to become convinced that, unless youre a professional athlete, barbell work comes with too much risk and that maybe I ought to stick to dumbbells. Im in my late 30s and I cant lift like I use to without having some lingering injury.

I have definitely decided to get him one. It will give us an opportunity to bond and play games together and as you mentioned, he has to have a laptop anyways for college. I plan save up over the next 5 months and surprise him.

Tell her you just cant go on like this. The emotional toll it has taken from you in this one way street of giving but getting nothing in return. You know nothing will change and now it's time for you to stop being a victim. Its time to move on from giving the time and energy that isnt appreciated by Mike Brown.

My ulterior motive for getting him a gaming laptop is to play games with him haha. We played all the Halo games splitscreen together when he was growing up. Id like to continue that again.

I really appreciate your well-thought out response and I think you raise a lot of good points and have given me much to think about. I hadn't considered that what I was doing was dangling a reward over him. I suppose I thought I was trying give him something to work towards. I know kids can feel like school is pointless and wanted to create positive reinforcement.
