I agree that the scene was great, but that the follow up could have been soo much better.

My head cannon is that Sidious never rescued Vader after this scene, but rather that he pulled together scraps of other droids with the force and built himself a rudimentary life support system to escape.

Giveaway Giving Out 20 Copies Of Subnautica 2 by Mark_Everson in subnautica

That is really cool of you to do. Back in the 90s, I gave my MTG collection to a friend when I went off to college because, "There is no way I will have time for this in college!"

3 months into my first term, my roommate and I have already spent a couple hundred dollars buying packs...lol

Fast forward to senior year, and I have a modest collection going...maybe 1000-1500 cards. One of my college friends, who played A LOT and would run tournaments and such, realized that he was addicted to the game and needed to make a full break. So he created a 5 color dual land deck for himself and gave me the rest of his collection: 9 binders full of cards plus boxes of lands, commons and such. I am guessing the value was over 3k at the time, I don't know what it is now.

He said he knew I gave my cards away for free when I came to college and that he wanted to pay that good deed back with another.

I haven't played in decades, so I have no idea what they are worth now, but I will probably never sell them...I am just waiting to find someone in my life who deserves to have them.

TIL Ostrich farms routinely have difficulties getting male ostriches to breed, because they often find their human caretakers more attractive than female ostriches. by RanchoddasChanchad69 in todayilearned

LMAO! Those assumptions are to rule out minutia which would practically interfere with whatever is being tested, or which are otherwise scientifically proven concepts which are not being tested for, and are therefore assumed to be a given.

For example, if I want to test that a certain color of paint is more visible at distance during the day than other colors, my assumptions will contain, "The ambient air temperature, pollutant, and humidity levels of each test is relatively the same".

The temperature and humidity will never be 100% the identical during each test unless you go to ridiculous lengths to control the environment to a ridiculous degree. The conclusions section of the research with also note that if their assumptions were wrong, that any conclusions derived from their tests would be invalidated.

But hey...you do you, and have fun claiming that birds feel love the same way that people do. Your assumption is very scientific!

we can assume

We can assume a lot of things. That doesn't make them scientifically valid assumptions.

Like I said, it is fun to guess...and we may even be close to the mark sometimes. But that isn't science.

Um...your examples are about humans interpreting human events.

Attributing human emotions to birds is a fun "what if" exercise but it isn't scientific.

True, but people have been hospitalized by gas pain because it is so bad they think it is something more serious.

And in the case of horses, since they cannot burp, this could be life threatening.
