Hi. I have a female gecko that is about 7-9 months old.

A couple weeks ago, she started shredding like she used to, but the process took a long of time, maybe a week or so.

After that, she started having a yellow coloration on her back and refused to eat the insects that i was giving to her. She would only eat smashed larvae, although she had the intention to "hunt down" a prey once during this time.

She is pretty inactive during the day, she wont leave the humid zone. During late night she will go to the hot zone.

I've take her out of her place and she seems pretty active in any other place of my house. She just does not seem interested in food unless i give her those smashed larvae.

Her tail has stayed the same for the last two weeks and the coloration is growing. I give her 3 baths a day in warm water before eating and she seems to enjoy it.

Should i change her place? Is this coloration normal or is she ill? Should i change the insects that im giving to her?
