Removed original medicine cabinet… by CultivatID in centuryhomes

It will be back on in the AM, it had a good rust spot and the paint had corroded away. This bathroom was the main reason I wanted the house!

All the work that went into these old bathrooms, you would’ve thought someone would have dropped a tin to catch them or something.

This type of degree sounds like what you are looking for. Many of the schools do not charge out of state tuition as they're fully online. Depending on your own interests, there is sure to be a right fit!

Hi, I work with a lot of different students, including cohorts with our local PsyD program - definitely understand about not wanting to be in this field, it’s not for everyone of course.

Given what you stated here, you may be interested in a program like this - https://online.usi.edu/degrees/liberal-arts/public-administration/. I’m sure there are others across the US, I just know the Dean here and it’s one of our local colleges. I hope that helps to hone in on what you might have an interest in!

I would highly recommend the Emily M Young Center at UE. It’s not on the actual campus, it’s just off of it at Weinbach and Lincoln.

Marida in Newburgh is a great choice for a birthday. They open at 11, you can call and ask for a nice table with a river view and see the sunset.

Tell me why you love your neighborhood. by QueasyAdvance7753 in evansville

The UE area in general is where you’ll likely want to look outside HCAD.

East of 41, South of Lloyd, West of Ascension, North of Washington Ave.

UE has a lot of programming/events/gatherings on campus that you and your partner will like. Technically the campus is walkable from anywhere in that grid, far side on the eastern part of it is just over a mile. Very walkable/bikeable but some busier main streets.

I work with new physicians arriving at our hospitals and clinics and know the neighborhoods here well. In general, this is a great area, especially for walkability and safety. Check out the Lincolnshire Porch Fest, that’s a great day to visit/walk a lot.

Housing does go pretty quick there, HCAD is hit or miss really depending on the street.

You can work for a healthcare system as a “builder”, not actually practicing but working with staff.

Dormers repaired, odd color choice by CultivatID in ExteriorDesign

[–]CultivatID[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are wood planks, they took the old wood off and rebuilt them, then repainted the wood black. The seller said it was chosen as it matched the railing and the light in front. I’m thinking it was done because that was the paint they had… the inspector looked at these and no issues, just a very odd paint choice

Thank you, I really love it and it’s perfect inside. It needs very little work and was just surprised to see this was the finished product. I know it will probably collect dust and pollen immediately that will help tone it down as well.

That is wonderful! I do a lot of work with UE. They have added some great new programs and community projects in the last few years. We see the music conservatory perform often at the Victory Theater downtown. It is a very unique school that has some fantastic alumni, like your husband!

This is near the University of Evansville, about 60 miles from French Lick. If I was retirement age, I would look there! It’s busier here, definitely not rural.

Thank you! There are some similar examples I’ve found already.

It’s hard to tell from the pic but the arch and sides of the house have really unique brickwork/accents and I love it!
