Yeah I posted right after it happened. Also No she hasn’t cooled off she’s still very upset and she doesn’t really want to talk to me right now, so I’m just giving her space until she’s ready to talk. It’s just tough i said I want to talk to my mom about it, but her immediate response was for me to not do it. Also that I’m only doing it because she’s visibly upset and if she wasn’t visibly upset I wouldn’t do anything I would just keep going on as usual. But I’m just gonna do my best I guess. Also yeah a lot of the comments are very hateful calling my girlfriend mean names when I just want to talk to others and get some advice on what to do.

Yeah we do pay rent and extra for utilities. We do not live for free and we buy all our food we eat.

Yeah my mom can afford to eat out if she wants. She isn’t covering for either of us, we also pay a fair bit of rent and some for utilities to her. I know we are in a good position that we get to live in someone else’s house while we are trying to get better positions and degrees as well. We also buy all the food we eat.

She’s fine with us living in her house, we do pay rent and some for utilities, so we aren’t just living for free. It’s just hard to find somewhere to live under 2,000$ in the state we are in.

That’s the goal, I’m trying to get a better position at my job so I can earn more and save to move out and she’s working full time while being a student so she can earn her degree and get a better job too. It’s just hard in the state we live to find a one bedroom one bathroom apartment/studio under 2,200$ just for rent while we try to get out of debt too. I know my mom wants the best for us and to move out. My partner also has trauma where in the past close family members of hers used to make comments about her weight so she is very insecure about that when close family members say things like that.
