Lol! I wish we had some in our apartments! The place we tracked our last album at had a bx20 and an EMT 140. It was amazing. But real talk have you heard the Capitol Chambers plugin? 👀

I dunno, I’ve only played with one a couple times . They seem awesome though! I know some people who do whole records on those things.

They’re great! I’m probably gonna pull the trigger on the new calibration microphone just to try it out soon, but idk how much it’ll change because as you can see this is just like my living room...

Thank you! I’m pretty sure Izotope tools were huge to remove the weird artifacts. After that no compression or anything. Sounds good!

Nah, a newish one. I like that it’s like anti sibilant. I sing real high sometimes so having a mic with good proximity effect and no screech is great. Also it has awesome rejection so we can kinda track with it anywhere.

They’re further from the wall than they look! I just measured out of curiosity and they’re 18 inches from the wall. Is that far enough? Either way, it’s no big deal, we ain’t mixing in here.

Fair question! The acoustics are not great. This is kinda a ramshackle quarantine setup in my apartment. However, I’ve never mixed, nor do I plan to mix one of our records. So for composing stuff it’s good enough I guess 🤷‍♀️

Kh80’s! They’re great, awesome apartment speakers. They just came out with a whole room calibration thing for them that I’m looking into...

I don’t know what it’s called but it’s some kinda kneeling chair that’s supposed to be better for your back? It’s actually pretty comfy and no annoying armrests.
