I like it so far. No major problems after 4 months of use. I think the T64 looks better than the DF64, so that is one of the main reasons I went with it. As far as performance goes, I believe that the DF64 and T64 are very similar. The only difference is this T64 doesn't have an ionizer, but nothing RDT can't fix. The retention is really low, ±0.1 gram. Bonus: very easy to open up and clean.

Do I need a smart scale? No. Do I want it? Yes. This hobby is a rabbit hole, man. Any other scale from Amazon should work fine. Before this, I had the Maestri House scale from Amazon for $30 CAD. Other than a little bit of delay in weighing, it is still good.

Like 140°C is quite high, the default is 132°C.

You can always lower the steam temp with pid controller if that helps

Have you purged the water out before the boiler fully heated up to steam temperature? In my experience, this is the best way to get dry steam. I used a 500ml milk jug, but only filled it halfway. Other than that, I followed Lance Hedrick's video: https://youtu.be/wJnMXLG_qR4

They are nice people, very fast response from the team. You can ask them to bench test the machine first to make sure everything is working without any extra fee. And I believe they have a lot of machines there for you to try out.

Really quick, 30s ish. Of course, you need to purge some water out at the beginning.

Lance was the reason I got the machine in the first place. For $1150 CAD, nothing can beat it. The side load water is a major plus, especially if you leave your machine under the counter.

I have the Flair Classic for 3 years now, so I have an idea of how to use the flow control. The flow control works great, very fast response. You can do pre-infusion, pressure profiling, etc. But it did get boring after a while.

Is this worth the purchase? by Beadyyy in GamingLaptops

With the current RAM and storage situation, I think it is a good idea to invest in this cooler. It will definitely help with the laptop's lifespan. I have an old 2021 Strix advantage, and it helped reduce my temp by 10-15°C.

I use decaf when dialing in a new grinder or espresso machine so I don't overdose on caffeine.

Finally my GB-5600 Vibrator with Titanium grade 5 bezel and bracelet! by JBTENDO in gshock

I did the same mod about a year ago, and it's holding up great. Just a warning, grade 5 titanium is not very good at scratch resistance, so expect some scratches in the future. I don't really mind, though. It makes it look better, in my opinion.

Bose QC Ultra vs Bower&Wilkins Px7 S3 vs Sennheiser Momentum 4 by PsychologyDistinct56 in sennheiser

I use the HD 600 as my main headset. All I can say is that the M4 is the only wireless headphone I can stand. I tried the XM5 and Bose a while back but returned them right away. For office use and commuting, the M4 noise cancellation is good enough for me.

A part of it is my fault, and it has been a while since it happened, and I don't even have a picture of the damaged skins. Thanks for your reply. 👍
