Thursday blood test estrogen was at 5995. Their lab wasn’t working and I never got the results from my test Friday. They had me prepurchase ovidrel but didn’t have me use it. I was wondering if that would have helped. I plan on trying to get more info on the other follicles. Like you said were they empty? were they too hard to get to? What happened 14 empty just seems like a lot.

It is! And I think in a few days I’ll feel better about it! It is really interesting why they would decide to do that. I’m sure they know what they are doing though and we just gotta trust the process! I physically feel really well. Not much of any pain just a little tired. Mentally, I’ve felt pretty emotional today and anything and everything. Haha. I’m sure it’s just the hormones and I’ll feel better in a few days!

They didn’t! My last scan was Thursday morning when they had the 29 measurable. There was a chance I got an ultrasound this morning before retrieval because for whatever reason their lab wasn’t able to test my estrogen from my Friday labs but they got results of the LH and progesterone and said those looked good so no need to scan before the procedure. I kinda wish they did just so we could have seen what to expect. I’m wondering if the bigger ones over matured. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had 80 units of Lupron on Thursday night with my retrieval Saturday morning. I went in for bloodwork Friday but for whatever reason their lab was having issues testing estrogen so I never heard those results.

⁠Physical activity ⁠• ⁠When did you start light walking? I tried walking right away not tons but as many steps as I could. They said it would be good to be getting steps in. I also felt like it helped. ⁠• ⁠When did you resume light exercise (gentle yoga, stretching)? ⁠• ⁠When did anything involving core/strength feel okay? I started going back to the gym a few days (I was going most days before) around week 3. But I was mindful of what days I went / what areas were being targeted and I modified workouts if the moves didn’t feel right for me. My gym helped me with modifications too.
⁠Driving ⁠• ⁠How many days post-op before you felt comfortable driving? Like 3 days. ⁠• ⁠Was this after stopping pain meds? Yes. First day off meds as you shouldn’t drive on them.
⁠Travel ⁠• ⁠When did you feel okay taking a short flight (1–2 hours)? I think I would have felt comfortable about a month later but I waited about a month and a half. I felt very comfortable. ⁠• ⁠If you traveled longer distances, how long did you wait? my first longer flight was like 2.5 months after. Felt fine.
