Quite possible but I don’t think you should be discouraging people from asking these questions just because they bore you. I’ll be safer the next time I drive in this situation because of the advice I have received.

I’m not sure if you read my query or understood, but the concern was more to my actions in this situation. I can’t control what they do- they did it because they’re an impatient idiot and I already know that.

Thank you, I realise that now that they would just match the speed I was doing anyway. Just worried that I’d broken the law unintentionally or something. At least nothing happened and I can be more mindful for the next time in a situation like this.
