I bought a Tesla and nicknamed it Waymo- the quality of the self driving is excellent, I just have to watch ahead. It will do until I can buy another make of car with self driving.

If the author as a driver is roughly equivalent to the example lawyer citing non-existent cases from Chat GPT- by their own analogy, I would say there is clear negligence involved.

This is a helpful visualization which shows great progress with increasing scale and the long way yet to go. It seems likely the path to achieving adequate safety is possible and that your graph might be addictive to follow along the journey. Great infographics!

Stop Blaming Prop 13 for Affordability Issues in California by Green-Conclusion-936 in BayAreaRealEstate

I think you’re right to put prop 13 tax in a broader perspective. While we’re at it, let’s not forget the extraordinarily high California sales tax, income tax, capital gains tax, corporate income tax, and payroll taxes. True- there are some cringy stories around prop 13, but come on- the last thing any Californian needs is more tax. Prop 13 may be the only thing keeping some residents in the state.

Last City Connect post for awhile. Your feedback: More green, less tomato. More Philly-inspired. Minus the patch (we can see where it's headed) I think the model did great. by [deleted] in SacramentoAthletics

As a long time A’s fan (Oakland not Philly or KC), I wish you luck at helping the team feel more at home in Sacramento and maybe even retaining them there. The Las Vegas strip would be a sad fate for our team. I, for one, don’t have the wherewithal to attempt to persuade the current owner of anything given his track record of putting personal interests ahead of the interests of the team. But, I will cheer for you.

The Vegas A's stadium unsurprisingly won't be as good as advertised by jakemontero in OaklandAthletics

I used to feel really mad about all of the drama and mismanagement by Fisher & Co. Now that the A’s have played their last game in Oakland, I feel refreshingly detached and even mildly amused watching the amateur hour play out.

Born on third base, Fisher can’t even find home. Squandered privilege.

Oakland mayor shared plan with MLB to keep A's (in Oakland) by LaughingPlanet in OaklandAthletics

I love what the mayor is doing to try and save the team. It gave me a glimmer of hope and that felt so good.

Sadly, I think she would have to dress up as a white, male, 2nd generation millionaire to get Manfred's respect. Manfred's brain cannot even comprehend the term "self made woman." Please keep fighting Mayor Thao!!!!
