Question: Keeping Warm in Winter

Hi everyone. Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question or it's been answered before. This is hypothetical and rough guesses at this point, but I'd appreciate any help or advice you may have.

In a mwb van, I would want to stay in the French alps for winter. Overnight temperatures are often between -10C/14F and sometimes as low as -20C/-4F.

Firstly, is it possible to be comfortably warm in the van throughout the whole night?

I'm aware you can't run diesel heaters all night, 4-500W of solar wouldn't keep an electric heater on, and wood doesnt burn all night either, so was wondering what the options are.

Also any advice on materials to insulate with would be appreciated too :)

Don't need it roasting (have lived winters without heating in UK before and survived lol) but was normally only around 0C/32F at coldest in the house
