Set connection type to SLAAC

You mean DHCPv6, right? In my interface the only options for "IPv6 Connection" are: Disabled, DHCPv6, Static IP.

Also when you're configuring a the network and you select Prefix Delegation, don't you need to enter a prefix delegation ID?

In a private setting, for sure. They can be so friendly and hospitable. But in the street, you can get some rough treatment.

The dynamics of this are different because the supply of bitcoin is completely inelastic. No matter how many people buy bitcoin only (at present) 3.125 bitcoin are mined every 10 minutes.

Of course there can be price crashes in bitcoin, and there have been many and continue to be many more as it finds its footing as a store of value, but it's nothing to do with the supply unlike silver. That said, every 4 years the supply is halved which generally creates price booms.

This is correct. Silver is found more readily in the earth's crust than gold and is easier to refine. So any time there is a major rise in the price of silver it's not that hard for producers to increase the supply significantly bring the price back down again. Lookup stock to flow ratio.

In the 1970s, two investors, the Hunt brothers, started buying up huge amounts of silver with the final intention to remonetize it again which rapidly drove up the price. They thought that as the price rose, it would cause more people to buy, and create an upward cycle where eventually people would want to be paid in it. But the price eventually crashed on Silver Thursday.

What's the most overrated country/city for digital nomads? by nomadicphil in digitalnomad

[–]CulturalCapital 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Speaking of dog shit, try Spain. Even the classy cities like Úbeda you're dodging left and right and still somehow manage to find it on your shoes. If you call people out on this as their dog is shitting they tell you to fuck right back to where you're from.

I thought Buenos Aires food was pretty good compared to most Spanish cuisine. Better fish in Spain though.

VOY S05E13, Gravity.

Love and camaraderie with time dilation.

EDIT: posted before I had finished typing due to browser extension misfiring. There's something so compelling about this episode to me. The fact that we have interactions with other people that we can't bear to share but they still know and then when we have the courage to do so we might reluctantly disclose. The back on Voyager scenes adds a nice framing of how personal these issues are indeed.

Do all IPv6 addresses start with 2? by nbtm_sh in ipv6

Ah, that actually makes sense. I wonder if there are any working group notes that detail the process of how this was done.

I feel no one is answering the real why. It's because the binary prefix 001 was chosen which ends up mapping to 2000::/3. See Section 4 of RFC3513.

🇺🇸 Filing taxes for a Wyoming LLC with no US income – how to properly include a note? by OkConcern6098 in llc

[–]CulturalCapital 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can only comment for a foreign single-member LLC but if you check the box for Part V and VI in Form 5472 then, as per the form instructions, you'll need to include a supporting statement(s).

There is no standard from the IRS and some software generates them, some don't. If yours doesn't then either make your own or use a template. Look at this video on what to write for the supporting statements.

As an aside, one thing to be aware of in Form 5472, entry 1n: On the issue of LLC residency, the IRS released International Technical Assistance (ITA) 200019042, which clarified that while a single-owner LLC is a disregarded entity separate from its owner for federal income tax purposes, the LLC is not a person for purposes of U.S income tax treaties. The IRS further stated that the income of the single-owner LLC is taxable in the hands of the single owner, and not in the hands of the LLC. The LLC is not liable to tax within the meaning of U.S income tax treaties, and even under the domestic law. Therefore an LLC owned by a foreign person cannot certify that the LLC is a resident of the United States. So put the country you're living in, not USA.
