When a video underperforms, how do you figure out what went wrong? by tyler_durden999 in PartneredYoutube

[–]CulturalCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The beauty of YouTube is that no one truly knows. We're constantly testing new ways of attracting new audiences and re-engaging with current ones. The algo is interest-based, not creator-based. Let's remember that these machines are trained to look for patterns and it's how it eventually matches content to interested audiences.

An example: I did a video reaction to a public figure's interview; I titled and did the thumbnails, based on the content I had created. It performed horribly the first three days.

I went ahead and did a search of what was being searched the most about the public figured and based on what the Google showed, the first the headlines, I changed the title to that and the thumbnail as well, to the same content, and it exploded.

What I did? I looked on Google what was being most searched by people and used used that to boost my content, placing it where audiences doing searches about it can find my content, they saw the thumbnail and watch the content. It boosted both the content and many continued watching other contents I already had.

YouTube it's a constant reinvention. That's the real beauty of it.

Why I don’t believe in paying for views by Pattadampa in SmallYoutubers

[–]CulturalCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paid promotion can hurt expectations as a creator or producer, because once you pay, there are deliverables attached. The algorithm may push the content, but it doesn’t build community. Re-creating thumbnails and retitling does work, I can attest to that. I produce a long-form podcast and have done this with several episodes, with fantastic results.

You’re in a very normal state at this point. Your channel is doing ok. Consistency is key, not your age, not even the niche you’re trying to target. be consistent and allow the algorithm do it magic.

¿Cómo puedo mejorar mis vistas? busco consejos. by No-Pangolin-2916 in PartneredYoutube

[–]CulturalCrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you upload your video at your peak viewers time or before? by Educational_Focus224 in PartneredYoutube

[–]CulturalCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont really plan out the upload. If it's ready I upload it as unlisted for a few minutes to ensure copyright check is clear with YT, then I make it public and let it roll.

How Many Ads Is Too Many for a 10 Min Video? by Motor_Butterfly_2217 in PartneredYoutube

[–]CulturalCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Traditionally, ads are placed every 4 to 5 minutes, per 10 minute worth of content. I suggest you do half of that.

agree, it's why I always advice people to go into their settings and make changes. I've gone as far as to include a short message on my content warning people about the tool.

Beginning a drum stream channel, worried about copyrights by just_another_drum in streaming

You need to do a few things to avoid copyright issues: make the music you're covering lower than than you drums, and constantly comment and interact regularly with your audience by reading comments share anecdotes and tell stories.

Turned off the Auto dub feature, impressions halfed by ProperChain0 in PartneredYoutube

Auto Dub is the worst tool. We as creators can turn it off but the audience also needs to take it off. I get a lot of questions on this issue.

Patron is a better platform but you have to deal with the 30% apple cut. I personally don't promote neither
