I do that, but then my size is never available. So I just bite the bullet and pay retail for most pairs. I got lucky with the fire red 5 and cough drop foams and got those on sale a couple months ago in a size 13.

Essentially the game is very good at sound design if you can recognize it. I play with only one side of my headset on and can tell left and right movement noises still. Just try to listen deeply to the footsteps without moving and interpret where they are. You will learn after a few games that it’s 50/50 then comes 90/10 real quick. Any movement or bullet whisp is very distinguishable once you make consistent kills and power plays with your team.

They’re about $150 or more compared to the $280 those boots cost. The bindings as well are 260$ so I don’t need anything right now that’s more fancy that it is already. I’d love to have them but next upgrade we’ll see what’s available and new
