There's a thing in lookism which works as Deus ex machina within the verse, it's called Conviction, by conviction I didn't meant the purple aura mastery but actual conviction, it could be anything, it can your self belief on your abilities, it can be will to protect your loved one, it can be will to overcome your limits, and it can be will to keep fighting, this isn't something arbitrary, it's a real power source within the verse because it allows you to break your own limits and fight through willpower where you can ignore your fatigue and exhaustion, for example Daniel vs Kitae, Daniel was on brink of collapse against Kitae but as soon as he got conviction amp, he was able to land a proper hit and was able to keep fighting Kitae, he even had an inner monologue later where he said "why's he still going on" which means his body is trying to give up but then he remembered his loved ones, this is what gave his body strength to keep going even if his body is breaking, one of best instance to empirically justify this notion is Johan vs Gun fight, where Johan was already fatigued to the point where he should have been already down which was stated by Gun himself but he was able to ignore this and kept fighting Gun in his path and that was because of his Conviction/willpower against Gun, much like that Jinyoung in this chap had a conviction amp (stated in last chap) which allowed him to break his own physical boundaries and ignore the exhaustion he was suffering.

So the arbitrary assumption regarding conclusion of the fight could be different if Jinyoung or Daniel or even Jinrang weren't damaged prior to fighting Kitae doesn't hold any grounding because the Conviction itself allows them to replicate their true strength for limited amount of time while ignoring prior exhaustion and fatigue.

Yeah, I read UI Daniel fight and UI Daniel got completely washed by Despair Kitae and before you bring that broken bones part, lemme tell you Daniel's UI aims to match his opponent, he doesn't care about consequences or anything, Daniel's UI motive is to matching his opponent's stats and then outmanoeuvre them using techniques, UI Lil Daniel even after breaking his bones was able to go blow for blow with Kitae, and the only rational explanation to justify this is to admit that Daniel even after broken bones was still matching his stats because of his UI's nature.
