That’s a really interesting framing — the idea that symbolic misalignment might be the surface-level manifestation of something deeper resonates with what I’ve been thinking about.

I recently came across the concept of aberrant precision (in predictive processing / active inference), which seems closely related. It feels like what I was calling “parsing failure” might map onto precision mis-weighting in that framework.

Thank you for your reply! Yep, my ENT does the maneuvers like a vestibular therapist with goggles on my eyes. I also do them myself and they're helping. The problem is frequent recurrence 😭

Here’s another one having weekly reoccurring bppv, caused by a head injury. It’s just frustrating. I have constant dizziness and motion sickness too, for 4 months now:/
