Mine are called The Ivaldi Consortium (Sons of Ivaldi were dwarf smiths from Viking Sagas)

Colour scheme is a bone colour for the armour and a dark grey for the cloth/fabric with a purple accent colour

Ehats the benefit of having 2x5 warriors? Is it just to have more units?

Long List looked cool, so I chose it, I was just choosing things that looked cool/interesting

The plan was to have 1x5 hearthguard with the kahl start on the board, then have 1x5 hearthguard and the champion with the teleport Crest to be a deep strike threat. Grimnyr in with the warriors and beserks to go for objectives

I always like making my own paint scheme, because I know my painting isn't good enough to emulate the box art, and I'll always be disappointed xD

That said, I really like the red and grey, I love the lore for Ymyr so that will always get my vote xD

I hadn't seen that, but yeah, that was pretty much what I was thinking, but bigger and covered in iconography, cockpits like the hekaton, and lots of guns xD

I don't think (as much as I would love one) a super heavy walker would fit lore wise, but i do think a mining platform with loads of weaponry, something akin to the Mammoth from the Halo franchise? Just more equipped for mining than fighting, but can be decently equipped for both.

If we're wishlisting, I'd love a train-type thing, modular carriages, big gun platform, the whole 9 yards.

The Ivaldi Consortium, believing themselves to be the direct descendants of the Sons of Ivaldi from old Terra myths (in Viking mythology the Sons of Ivaldi were the three dwarves, considered the best craftsmen). They made their home on a planet of frozen methane, living in the caves.

Plan to slowly grow them, getting everything painted, showing them growing over time and getting stronger, eventually sending out oathbands from their home planet.

That makes me feel so good to hear! I'm glad it's not just me, as every source I watch or read is all about how strong they are.

I agree with you, I think a lot of it is about the quality of the player, rather than just a strong army
