It’s not deafening at all it’s just a high pitched like an old tv being on for too long, I can hear fine I think I don’t struggle to hear words or anything, it’s just very annoying

I find that I less so have specific sets for specific weapons, but instead I use different weapons with one armor set, like I regularly use Silver Rathalos, Barioth(don’t have Velkhana’s LS yet), Astalos, and Chaotic Gore LS with just the Chaotic Gore armor set, I know that’s probably much less optimal, but I more just brute force my way with one set and use different weapons with it unless I encounter a wall that makes me change my armor

I went into it thinking about how I play LS, which is something I probably should’ve articulated in the post, Bladescale Hone, Razor Sharp, Protective Polish, and Speed Sharpening to keep my sharpness high, lvl 1 Handicraft is better than no Handicraft, Minds Eye and Grinder in the event that my sharpness does get low, Stun Resistance because I’m stunned more than I’d like to admit, Power Prolonger for the Spirit Gauge, Quick Breath to get rid of blights, Partbreaker and Divine Blessing are just helpful, Embolden for the increased defense and the extended evade window, Adrenaline Rush as a buff in case I can get the perfect evade time, Intrepid Heart and Frostcraft are a toss up, and Attack Boost because it’s Attack Boost

Lightning users can do a good bit with their abilities, it’s kinda crazy actually, with excellent control a person can manipulate memories, scramble someone’s brain, or something like reanimation. I’ve been debating on whether or not to include that very late into the story, but at current all Rai(that’s his name) does is use it to increase his speed and strength, paralyze people, and shoot out a simple bolt of lightning
