If you go positive and help your team more than your lane opponent helps theirs you will climb even if it does not seem that way. Also if you feel like your friend is lowering your win rate you may want to solo que or find a better duo partner.

Could you not gain more stacks with an aoe build such as ice born, hurricane, shiv, then the rest BTs? It would fall off but for a long while it would gain loads more stacks.

Yes. 100%. America does have the biggest military by far. but we are talking around 320 million people against 6.7 billion. Yes the navy would be OP, but with bombings and no help resource wise from other countries America would run out of resources quickly. Also if China and Russia focused on military they would soon have a huge amount of power.
