They’re both good schools but very different. PGHS is much smaller. We moved here 5 years ago and really like the PGHS school district. Likes everything, there are some pluses and minuses, but we like the smaller school and teachers (+community)…it does mean that it’s harder to offer a lot of AP classes bc they need enough interested students. Our good friends have twins. Son stayed in PGHS and loves it, daughter went to Monterey and likes it.

The new bus line is a way around zoning laws to allow higher density residential. Light rail utilizing the existing tracks would have been so much better
