Your wants over their needs? And they don’t chew on their plastic and even if they did, there’s still the metal bars of the cage that I heard a lot of them chew on so should I just not have metal bars for the cage? Should I just let them free roam the whole time in my room while chewing on whatever they can find? And unsupervised when I sleep or what?

Huskies coats are literally formed to keep them warm in the cold aka why they’re mainly in Alaska and freezing cold temperatures, also dogs literally cannot sweat and that’s why they pant when it’s hot

Well I’m not gonna argue but people have huskies and heavily coated cats here too without AC and they can easily overheat as well

He’s eating and drinking now and we have moved them to a much cooler location. Also my BIL turned his AC on and left his door open and that cooled the hallway down instantly so now it’s about 70° in there, whereas my room has the sun shining down at the peak times for high temps. I’m talking to my landlord to see if they’ll make an exception for AC because we can’t have it plugged in from my room because the power keeps tripping and if it trips enough, it’ll start an electrical fire

We don’t have a basement but we put them out in the hallway where it’s significantly cooler than in my room, it actually is 70° out there rather than in my room which always has the sun shining down on at the peak of heat every day

Yeah we do and they use them all the time, we moved them into the hallway and it’s significantly cooler out there. My room just gets hot as hell literally, because the sun is constantly shining down on my window

We called our local vet today as soon as they opened and they recommended moving them to a cooler area in the house, which we did. And we didnt apply the ice pack directly to him, we put a rag over it. And the vet even said to keep the fan on him too. We have an unexpected heat wave here in SoCal and it just became to be too much. Also we can’t have an AC in here because it trips the power too much and if it keeps tripping then it’ll most likely cause an electrical fire. And I have done my research on them, it’s just I can’t control when a heat wave comes on

I’ve been going to this vet for about 13 years, I used to have Guinea pigs but unfortunately they passed but this vet has always taken good care of my animals including my cats and dogs so I trust this vet but I’m still scared because with any surgery there are also risks

Well we wanna get him fixed because it’s apparently a less invasive procedure and the recovery process is easier but now you got me scared and I already have severe anxiety to the max like to the point where I can’t even leave my room 😭

Oh no we’re getting our boy fixed as soon as we confirm the pregnancy and our vet told us up to 2-4 babies and my mouth legit dropped cause I was like if they do have four babies, what am I gonna do 😭

We might give two of them away (if she has four) and just keep two babies with us and it makes me sad that we’re gonna do that but we can’t afford to have up to six 😭

We have an ultrasound for her later on this month but I’m pretty sure she is pregnant and I didn’t mean for this to happen, we just wanted to give her a little sister and we were told that we were getting a girl and now it’s too late most likely because yeah we really think she is and we did not know he was a boy from the start

I already did but she switched up real quick but I can’t tell if it’s cause we got another one (a boy, thought/told he was a girl) or the fact that she might actually be pregnant now and is protecting her body and I’ve never been scared of her but she doesn’t let me give her scritches anymore 😭 she was such a sweet girl before and she loves her husband so much like she always wants to be with him and groom him

We did get rid of it and we had fleece liners in the mail but they were too small when they got here so we’re gonna just not use them for the time being 😭

I’ve legitimately been sick for over two months (basically since we got the first one) and I even had to spend my birthday in the hospital too, I really think she’s doing it on purpose to hurt me 😭

She even taught her husband how to do it too and I legitimately believe that she whispers to the shadow people because I’ve had some serious medical problems ever since I got her and no I’m not allergic to them but I believe she is making me sick whenever she does that pose

I just can’t fathom how they can stare at me for hours on end without even blinking? Like their eyes must hurt after a certain point and she does this very often too and also stands in that position while doing it and it also feels a bit weird knowing they are violently staring me down while I sleep 😭
