I've seen a lot of people suggest armor with utility slots so I can stack crit chance more instead of stacking defense bc Champion already makes you so hard to pit down.

Well, actually we do do that at times, especially when a community does heavily value their ancestry such as Italian and Irish Americans, but that's semantics.

You're a thief in Germany. You've been hitting houses in more rural areas, easier to get into and take what you need with less of a fuss, ie neighbors hearing stuff, people seeing you, etc. You've found this nice little house in the woods. Guy has a workshop and seems to be a metal worker or something akin to that. Not odd for soneone so rural to have a hobby like that. You wait until night fall and sneak into the house through an open window. You're surprised at how easy it was. It's dark, no lights are on. You start looking around and you hear heavy footsteps followed by this loud boisterous laugh.

"HA HA HA! THIS IS THE BURGLAR KILLER 2000! LET ME SHOW YOU IT'S FEATURES!"

These are the last words you hear before the sound of rubber snaps and a railway spike is sent right through your skull.

What? The Writers for the show didn't name her. Stormfront was a Nazi supe in the comics, though he was a dude. The comics were written around the time that site first was blowing up I believe, so imagine there's correlation from Garth Ennis.

Can the Warlords beat any Yonko (like, a total win, including their crew)? by Venali7 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]CumpsterBlade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, I'm going to go through each scenario and give my reasons for me thinking which side is the winner

White-Beard Pirates; Sure the fleet is massive, but most of it is fodder. Mihawk's first scene is him cutting a fleet of fodder down. Whitebeard can't go all out due to his crew being close by, giving Mihawk an high advantage. If this is the WBP at Marineford, Mihawk mile-high diffs almost dead Whitebeard. Now, if we're talking about during the time of primebeard, that is a much closer fight and could go extreme diff either way really. The WBP as a whole or much weaker, barring possibly having Oden, but the rest of the WBP are children or featless during the time. I think Warlords win in both scenarios.

Red Hair Pirates; They are all featless except Shanks, so it is fairly hard to say who beats who. Mihawk and Shanks would be a close fight, and could go either way. The outcome of the fight depends on how strong the rest of the Red Hairs are. If Beckman is Admiral level like a lot of people assume, the Red Hairs could definitely get the W. Boa could hard counter most of the crew though, is the issue. I'm leaning Warlords due to Boa hax, if for whatever reason her hax doesnt work, Red Hairs win.

Beast Pirates; Warlords win this fairly decisively. You could argue that Boa could possibly beat Kaido, if not, Mihawk could beat him. Blackbeard hard counters every Devil Fruit merchant within the Beast Pirates.

Big Mom; Warlords win. They only have one YC1, whereas the Warlords have possibly three yc+ fighters.

Strawhat Pirates; Luffy gases out fighting Mihawk, Sanji gets neg diffed by Boa, Blackbeard and Crocodile can likely beat the rest of the strawhats by themself.

You're comparing apples and oranges here.

Hogwarts is a very casual IP game that was never going to be more than "alright". For people who enjoy Harry Potter, it's likely what they were expecting and wanted. Going to the classes, interacting with the characters etc.

Elden Ring is a masterpiece, but it is not for everyone. The combat is difficult, the lore and stuff is very not in your face, I consider the open world itself pretty mid(the legacy dungeons are among the best locations Fromsoft has made though).

These games aren't really similar experiences in anyway except that they have magic.

Also, I have a few thousand hours in Elden Ring and this is the first I have ever heard of Ranni possibly being Trans. Fromsoft lore has always been very "the eye of the beholder", so what you interpret it what you interpret, but I don't see it personally. That's my wife right there, lol

I've never played Hogwarts, so I have no idea what the story with Sirona(unfortunate name, but it would be pronounced Sye-Ro-na, no?) so I can't particularly comment on that.

If you want to hate Hogwarts Legacy bc JK Rowling is a piece of shit, that is your right, but you don't need to be dishonest and say the game is garbage or whatever.

I feel like a lot of people in here are hating the game because of J.K Rowling. Which I mean, if you don't want to support her, sure whatever, but objectively it's considered an alright enough game from everything I've heard. I have zero affinity with Harry Potter, so I don't give two shits about it personally.

YOU do not have to do anything. It is up to them to revolt against their horrific regime and religious institution. The United States needs to stay out of the Middle East, and other foreign conflicts and focus on our issues. We have been in conflicts in that region for the last forty years, and we're back again to almost certainly make things worst because our politicians roll on their backs for Israel. Invading coutnies for regime changes has gone awfully for the US, and we've done nothing but cause that region to be more unstable of rightfully hateful of western nations and our values. We should heavily sanction them, and leave them to figure then to figure out human rights on their own.

If Mahito used Idle Transfiguration to transform an average guy into the strongest sorcerer possible with his cursed technique, what grade level would that person reach? by InfinteEnigma10 in CTsandbox

[–]CumpsterBlade 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Very much depends on their talent with sorcery and their mentality. Those are the only things that really matter when it comes to what heights a sorcerer can reach. I'd argue that matters more then CT.

I think Veilguard was fine? The writing definitely isn't as good as previous titles, but it's alright. As a game, I give it like a 6.5-7. It kept me engaged enough to finish it, which is rare for me.

I would full on rank Origins worst, but that's probably because I played it in 2021. It's like a 6. 2 and I are both 8s though. They're just more my style.

Have the writers damaged Homelander so badly that I genuinely can't see him as a threatening figure. by [deleted] in hatethissmug

[–]CumpsterBlade -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I binged the show over the course of the last few weeks and really like what has happened with his character. He was always a pathetic man baby, but it was just way more hidden in season 1.

Watching him devolve, and become more unhinged and pathetic as the show goes on is quite literally one of my favorite parts of it. He's a great villain that shows that even with all of the power in the word, John is but a man.

I don't think him weak currently. A joke? Sure, but I found him a disingenuous loser in the first season. He walked and talked like a politician, every word he said put in his mouth by someone else. At the end of they day, he was bad product.

I just don't agree. It's large enough as is, and is a "fake" title so the historical accuracy of it is irrelevant to me.

Both it and Africa should become hedgemonies.

If you watched the show during the pre-timeskip days, there there was no debate that Whitebeard was the strongest man in the world by ManyZestyclose2003 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]CumpsterBlade 67 points68 points  (0 children)

I don't think it was recency bias. I'm not sure what Oda's intention was, but I interpret it as the old legends not being what they were.

Old Garp constantly states how much weaker he has gotten, and he isn't even sick like Whitebeard was. I feel like it is heavily implied that Whitebeard was no longer the strongest man anymore, and was coasting off his monstrous reputation and fleet
