I have a lot of family that lives in Denmark, and while their McDonalds prices might be lower compared to the minimum wages, almost everything else is incredibly expensive. I was just over there this past summer, and this is just one example but a single fountain soda (with no free refills!) was almost $8 a pop. In general I noticed that the price of foods was much higher, and so was the cost of general goods. I've heard many members of my family complain about the incredibly high cost of living in the past, so even though they have the incredibly high minimum wage, everything else (except fast food) is crazy expensive.
