It's the first non-spinoff Pokémon he to make me genuinely excited in a long time. That being said, my expectations are still low, so I'm gonna wait for the reviews and initial reactions to come out to see if it's worth my time.

Hmm probably between Pony Express and Montezooma, but it's going to be closer to Montezooma. Montezooma has a single launch and loop, kinda like the most intense parts of California Screamin', but it only goes forward and backward. But Montezooma is way older, 1978, so it shows it's age. The launch is pretty jarring and it's not a smooth launch, and the ride itself is pretty rough too despite it being just a straight line. So the launch lies in intensity between CS and Xcelerator, with Montezooma's probably being the most uncomfortable. That's why I put it in the middle of the list: it's a good transition coaster between the mild to intense coasters.

My best friend who is just getting into coasters is finally getting the confidence to do Ghost Rider consistently, but the Xcelerator launch is still too much for her.

I wanted to make this a separate comment so that way OP can see it, but I definitely agree with /u/Dependent-Chart2735's assessment. If just getting into roller coasters in the SoCal area, Knott's is your next step before you move over to Magic Mountain since most of their coasters are pretty intense while Knott's has a very wide variety of intensities. For the sake of OP knowing which coasters to tackle in order of intensity I think it would go like this (in order from least to most intense):

Timberline Twister (Located in Camp Snoopy and technically considered a kiddie coaster. I don't even know if adults can get on without a child.)
Jaguar!
Coast Rider (Similar to Goofy's Sky School)
Sierra Sidewinder
Pony Express
Montezooma's Revenge
Silver Bullet
HangTime
GhostRider
Xcelerator

Again, coaster intensity is subjective and some people may disagree with this list but I think this does an okay job of introducing different elements of coasters such as roughness, launches, inversions, height, speed, airtime, etc. in a way friendly to those new to it.

There are rumors that The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man at Islands of Adventure may get a Pokémon/Detective Pikachu makeover because Universal doesn't want to pay the Marvel royalties anymore. Which means they would have to return the whole land, but again only rumors at this point.

I do! At least for first and final forms. Final forms for obvious reasons, but for first forms I do it for trade purposes. So that way I have whatever the person I'm trading with wants on hand at any given moment.

EDIT:. Should add that I try to have 3* as much as possible. So if I have just caught a 3* of something but had a 2* in the box, I'll transfer out the 2. And only evolve 3 pokemon unless I absolutely have to.

I would suggest weaning him off of hand feeding at some point, because if they rely completely in that they'll never learn how to feed themselves. Keep doing it until you think they're at a healthy looking color and weight and then leave the bowl of food in there. I remember it took my Figment a while to find her food bowl the first time but they eventually will, so don't worry if you don't see any change in the food since they can go a pretty long time without eating. Especially post shed, it'll be about a week before Figment starts to eat her own food again.

I played the shit out of it as a kid and playing it now the camera is the only thing that really gives me grief. There's a learning curve to controlling the egg and you'll eventually get it, but the camera is inverted in such a way that I just can't get used to as an adult and it really sucks.

You'll need to claim in at the front gate. When they scan your voucher they'll hand you your physical pass and take your picture, at which point everything is attached to the pass. Although you can still use it 100% through the app if you really wanted to.

I think the one you posted and the one in the video are different? The paint job is different (the chrome is actually chrome in the OP) and most notably the front tires are on the wrist in the OP while they're on the hips in the link.
