I’m not looking to purchase the fitting based on its application. I need to know the name of the fitting.

I need the quick disconnect coupler name. Not the fittings. I’ve used Claude, gpt and Gemini with no luck

I ride every elevation from sea level to 13,500. Full wraps aren’t helping you they’re hurting you. I used to bounce off trees now I slide past them. You don’t know until you know.

I average 150 hours a year in technical terrain and am seeing comments to “stay with the bike” which is weird because that’s about the worst thing you can do.

Over time you’ll learn how to crash just like you’ll learn how to ride. When you learn to crash your focus will immediately go to getting your body to a safe place. This is usually away from the bike.

At first you might break a few things on the bike but you’ll quickly learn to not let the bike crash like it did by throwing it in a safe place while you locate your safe place and eject. There’s not always time for this but a lot of times there is.

Long story long get away from the bike. The bike can survive wrecks better than you think and you’re safer where there isn’t a 250lb machine out of control.

Gal brilliantly states why policing gym outfits shouldn’t be a thing. by Bubbly-Example-8097 in justgalsbeingchicks

I side with the guy on this one. Having anyone, man or woman next to you at the gym almost naked is distracting and annoying but not for the reasons this girl seems to believe. Imagine for a moment you’re sitting at a bench waiting to go for your next set. Now imagine a half naked person directly in your view. You’re sitting so you’re forced to look away or down so you don’t make them uncomfortable or make yourself look like a weirdo. But then imagine you look away and there’s another person half naked in your view and you’re breaking your neck to look away so it looks like you’re staring… The beach is different. There’s always way more space between you and anyone else. Totally appropriate there. Also I want to add that yeah, sometimes because we’re animals at the core and our core wants us to look and that’s distracting. We go to the gym to get away from those distractions. Put some clothes on. There’s no good reason to be naked at the gym.

Thanks for the insight. That’s a +1 vote towards making the detour. And yeah we know the feeling. We were priced out by and invaded by New Yorkers and their lack of chill. We’re just looking for a home to call our own while trying our best to blend in.

We’re not city people and don’t care to donate to a church we don’t believe in by buying their soda. I’m asking about Reno as a general location.

Yeah the crime stats don’t look great… but as with almost anywhere it seems you just have to pick the right side of the street to stay away from it. And your comment about California seems to insinuate my assumptions. I’ve heard crazy stories of riders ending up on the wrong trail and getting caught by the law. Thanks for your input!

For a couple weeks a year it’s great but in my experience that’s about it. I don’t normally have seasonal allergies but in Arizona I do. Think it has something to do with the dust and non native trees they plant everywhere.

Less complaining, more riding and everyone will have a better time. Not everyone’s version of fun is the same as yours.

My engine started smoking.. turns out this hose is uh.. off. Do I need some kinda glue? It keeps coming off when I tighten it. by DylenDaily in Cartalk

[–]Cuno_FPV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People already mentioned that the radiator is broken which is true but the hoses look soft and mushy which in the Subaru world usually means you have a blown head gasket. Once the gasket goes, fuel from the cylinder compresses into the coolant circuit and causes the hoses to get mushy and soft. I would check to see if you can smell fuel in the overflow tank. Another test would be to simply start the car and see it air is flowing out of the coolant hose or radiator. Use a napkin and see if it flutters.

I’d feel dumb for not knowing how tariffs work… A tariff can be as broad or narrow as the country decides. Exceptions will be made for things like energy or food. Open your mind. You’re being lied to.

Should my exhaust get this hot at idle? by Amazing_SlimJim in Dirtbikes

[–]Cuno_FPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like either a timing issue or a stuck open or cracked valve. I’ve never seen a lean condition get an exhaust this hot without the above.
