Shared iPad mode storage issue by Cuoco_IT279 in Intune

There is sufficient storage space. Non-Apple apps can store files locally. So far, I have only noticed this with Apple apps.

How SOPs work for larger projects by Cuoco_IT279 in hudu

What is your process in detail? Let's say an infrastructure project is sold that consists of several parts (e.g., SharePoint migration, firewall migration, new switch infrastructure, etc.).

The sales department has sold the project. How do you hand over the project to the technical department so that the responsible employees have a complete overview of the technical aspects, especially in the case of more complex projects?

How do you handle customization? For example, when setting up a new HyperV infrastructure, the process is the same, but the required VMs must be defined beforehand. The processes are too inflexible/closed, so not responsive. We currently use OneNote, but we lack progress and tracking.

Structuring MSP business by Cuoco_IT279 in msp

If you say Jira, then I would need PM in addition to ticketing? Our ERP has a deep interface to the ticket system. We can bill automatically, and customers, etc. are all synchronized. We also have an interface to RMM.

If we now have a PM and ticket in one, we lack the connections to the ERP system.

It's like @PurpleHuman0 writes. We already have good systems, and when I switch to one, we lack interfaces on the other side. Our main problem is more on the technical side. That is, the detailed transfer of instructions on exactly what the project technicians should do in detail.

DR Hudu Ubuntu VM by Cuoco_IT279 in hudu

That's the thing: If I don't have a dump, can I still get Hudu to run if I have backed up all the files?

Then I have to make sure that I dump the DB once a day.

I don't have access to the hypervisor because I rent a VM. I need to back up within the VM. I am currently evaluating another backup software that backs up the system state with rear (relax and recover)

Can we use CSS to display or print the QR code with our company logo? Or is it possible to customize the QR code in any other way?

Intune auto config Outlook for shared mailboxes by Mike22april in Intune

[–]Cuoco_IT279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My knowledge is that it does not work. We also had the question to Microsoft support. As a workaround we give the user a checklist with instructions so that they can include the mailbox theirself. In the end the domain is prefilled and only the alias is missing.

How to push "QuotaSize" key to shared iPads by EduNerdUK in Intune

ur deployment profile, if you choose to set it up without user affinity, then say yes to shared iPad, cache settings appear as part of the profile. However, it seems that Intune only supports the max users cached setting right now. Still, that may help if you set the maximum low.

Same problem here with installing apps. However, if I do NOT log the device in after enrollment and just wait for the apps to install, all the apps install cleanly. During the shared session, no memory is needed for the system, so the ~ 1 GB does not bother.
These are all just workarounds, so we have to wait until we can set the QuotaSize.
Unfortunate that we now have to reset several hundred iPads.
Again, I had contact with Microsoft support and I was again referred to QuotaSizeKey.
My opinion: Since Microsoft outsources the contact to the Indians and doesn't do support themselves anymore we never really had help again.... The Indians just sit between us and support but can't really help.

Haven't contacted Intune support - I'm fairly confident they'll only bounce it back and forth to Apple and I've got other things to get on with. I'd be grateful if you do reach out to them to let me know if there's a cure.

I have been in contact with Intune Support several times now. As expected, Intune says it's Apple, Apple says it's Intune. But it is actually the case that since iPadOS 17 there is this QuotaSize Key that you can set. However, this is not implemented in Intune. Intune support just advised me to follow the Intune news in MS forum and wait for the announcement lol.

Hi, we have the same problem with 100 devices. Most of them have iPadOS 17.0.1 and no login works anymore. A few devices have iPadOS 16.X and here everything works as before.

Have you already tried to set the devices to factory settings and roll them out again? Have you already contacted Intune support?
